There is also a large section on fire science and management with seasonal outlooks and statistical summaries of fires in recent years.

Forest Stewardship Council
Founded in 1993, this international non-profit organization supports sustainable forestry practices and policies for managing the world's forests. The FSC generates appropriate guidelines for sustainable forest management and accredits potential certifiers. This site provides access to a discussion of the certification process and lists of certified companies and their products.
